비자 발급 대행업체를 통해 비자를 발급 받으려면 업체에 수수료를 내야 하지만, 필리핀 은퇴비자(SRRV)만큼은 예외이다. 은퇴비자만큼은 비자 에이전시(대행사)에서 수수료를 거의 받지 않는다. 간혹 수수료를 받기도 하지만 은퇴비자 신청 서류를 발급하는 과정에서 필수적으로 드는 실비 정도에 불과하다. 필리핀 은퇴청(PRA)에서 미리 공식 마케터를 모집한 뒤 대행사 측에 은퇴비자 발급에 대한 소정의 보상을 하기 때문이다. 매년 가장 많은 은퇴비자를 발급한 마케터를 선정하여 TOP 마케터 명단을 발표하기도 한다.
